Solstice and pastries ... Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005 - 8:52 p.m.

Happy Solstice, everyone! =) Admittedly, I'm more a gal for Christmas, but there's no doubt it's a good night for energy and such. And wow. I had no idea, but Asque makes the most amazing pastries and such. Wow wow. Maybe I can talk him into making Christmas cookies with me. Mmmm.

so hating gnomes right now ... Monday, Aug. 08, 2005 - 7:17 p.m.

Wow. There is something bloody amazing about reading Mercedes Lackey while listening to the Chieftains. Like, desperately yum. So yes! I'm practicing my online skills and ignoring my blog for days on end! Aren't I wonderful? . . . Okay, so actually I've been off away from a computer for a while, which has been quite a pain, let me tell you. Not because I really care about using a computer much . . . 'cause I really don't . . . but 'cause I would rather have been here at the Agency bored than out in the country, working and bored. Remember that lady I told you about who called 'cause her house was haunted or whatever? Turns out she lives seven flipping hours away. So of course I had to drive us there, 'cause you know Asque, he's just a bum and all . . . And her house wasn't haunted. That wouldn't have taken so long--nobody's got enough ghosts that you can't send 'em off in a day. No, no, it wasn't haunted, but it was definitely infested. Gremlins, mold demons, garden gnomes--garden gnomes should be considered localized disasters, really, especially in a garden the size of hers--you name it. Took us the better part of the week to get it all cleaned up and we just got back this afternoon. Blerg. What's worrying is even though we were busy, it was more busy-work than enjoyable or frantic busy, and it was really just as boring as sitting around here. Therefore . . . Bleh. I really don't want stuff to start falling apart yet. Another week or two, that'd be nice.

a morning with toasters ... Tuesday, Aug. 02, 2005 - 2:32 p.m.

Heh. And was that not the absolute worst first entry in the history of blog-kind? I thought so. Ah, well. So anyway. I . . . pretty much just got up an hour ago, which Asque was a little ticked about. Of course, I was like, "Oh, don't be silly; it's only about three hours later than I normally get up and it's summer, anyway," and he was all *grr grr disappointedinyou glare*, which I've come to discover really means nothing and is mostly for show. Today's been pretty boring thus far, which, I suppose, doesn't mean much except that it's been pretty boring all week and I haven't even started getting really bored yet, which means it'll probably be vaguely boring for at least another week before all hell breaks loose. So I expect today to be boringly average, but not suffocatingly so. Let's see . . . what else should I talk about . . . Oh! I, um, had toaster pastries for breakfast--the Pop-tart kind, except they're a cheaper brand. No meat, of course, so they weren't those eggy ones that always smell so good, but damn, when they come out with those with just egg and cheese or something, I'll be all over 'em. Wow. Asque's right. I do use a lot of run-on sentences. Don't tell him that, though. Doot 'n' doooo . . . Ooh! Asque just answered the phone--too bad you can't hear it, 'cause it seems to have a slightly different ring each time and today it was like, "Bree-EE-EEP-breeeeep"--and apparently some lady wants us to come over and take care of the gremlins in her garden. There's been a lot of those hanging around lately; I hope we're not in for another infestation. Usually they tell us when there's gonna be a mass migration, but . . . Hrrm. I wonder if I should let Asque answer the phone anymore. He's got no people skills, and I think he scares people. Off away!

an introduction? ... Monday, Aug. 01, 2005 - 8:02 p.m.

So, um, yeah. Hey. =) I'm Shin'nen and . . . um. How the heck are you supposed to start these things out? I'm not even quite sure exactly sure why I'm writing this in the first place . . . except that I've sort of meant to since I was like, 12, and I'm a lazy bum and if I don't start something I figure I'll become computer illiterate hanging around Asque. (Research freak that he is, you'd think he'd have to resort to a little internet work once in a while, but nooooo . . . ) So yeah. This is me. This is my life. If you're lucky, maybe I'll survive the year. =D Makes things interesting, don't it?
